WASHINGTON - Billionaire Elon Musk has said he plans to commit around US$45 million (S$60 million) a month to a new pro-Trump super political action committee (PAC), the Wall Street Journal reported on July 16, citing people familiar with the matter.
Mr Musk has reportedly contributed to the America PAC. However, the South Africa-born entrepreneur was not listed on a July 16 filing by the group, which shows that it has raised more than US$8 million.
Lonsdale Enterprises and the Winklevoss Twins were among the donors. Lonsdale donated US$1 million and investors Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss each contributed US$250,000. REUTERS
