Li Ying began her journalism career in 2016 as a broadcast reporter, covering everything from major political developments to the Covid-19 outbreak for live television and radio. Behind the scenes, she has also produced episodes for multiple award-winning documentary series. She joined The Straits Times in August 2022. She has a keen interest in mental health issues and is currently helming a year-long series on the topic.
