While President Donald Trump is not out of the woods, the report of Special Counsel Robert Mueller has, in exonerating him from suspicion of collusion with Russia to win the 2016 election, lifted a cloud that has dogged Mr Trump since even before his inauguration in January 2017.
And notwithstanding an array of separate investigations against him and the Trump Organisation, the chances of the President being impeached, which were not strong as Democratic Party leader Nancy Pelosi was reluctant to push for such a move, have receded further.
