The United States-China trade war has triggered a permanent redirecting and restructuring of the global soya bean market, said Iowa Soybean Association chief executive Kirk Leeds.
American soya bean producers, rendered uncompetitive by China's 25 per cent tariff on soya beans in retaliation for the Trump administration's tariffs on Chinese products, have lost the Chinese market.
