What began as a one-week coding programme last December for Leah Loh culminated in the 10-year-old Methodist Girls' School pupil winning the top prize at Code XtremeApps, an annual hackathon competition organised by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA).

Her team of three beat 30 other teams in the junior category (aged 12 and below). The result was announced during the prize presentation today at the Singapore Management University.
