SINGAPORE - Gymkhana FC, which made the headlines recently after one of its players allegedly struck a referee, has been expelled from the National Football League (NFL).

The club had on four occasions this term been unable to start a Division One match with the full complement of 11 players, and so the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) threw the book at the club - and threw it out of the NFL.
