SINGAPORE - Before he became the unstoppable scoring machine he is now, Borussia Dortmund teenage sensation Erling Haaland could have easily been one of those wonderkids who promised much and ultimately delivered little.

Rising through the ranks at second-tier Norwegian side Bryne, he played for the reserve team in the lower leagues as a 14-year-old and scored 18 goals in 14 games in the 2015/16 season.
