The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) will be extending its Cubs programme in Hong Kah Secondary School starting from Feb 6 (Saturday).
Currently an all-girls centre, it will now be a general Cubs centre catering to boys as well. It will host two sessions every Saturday, from 7.45-9.15am, for both genders from Primary 1-6, with the next session at 9.15-10.45am, for Primary 1-6 girls only.
There will be a one-time registration fee of $50 which covers a full playing kit (jersey, shorts and socks) and insurance, after which a monthly fee of $24 applies.
The Cubs' programme is a developmental programme for children aged 7-12 who are interesting in learning how to play football and playing it on a regular basis.
There are two other all-girls centres operated by the FAS at Bowen and Queensway Secondary School.
Interested participants can register at Hong Kah Secondary School or email GrassrootsFootball@fas.org.sg or sign up on-site on Saturday.
