SINGAPORE - Another space has been opened up for the public to leave cards and gifts wishing former Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew well.

Teck Ghee Community Club (CC) has set aside its wellness centre on the first floor as a special corner for such gifts.

The CC is located in Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong's ward in Ang Mo Kio GRC.

The corner was opened at 3pm on Saturday and so far about 10 people have dropped by. More are expected to arrive tomorrow, said a spokesman for the CC.

He said the CC got the idea from Tanjong Pagar CC, which has designated a similar area for well-wishers.

"Since we're under PM Lee's ward, we thought we would do the same to wish his father well," the spokesman added.
