SINGAPORE – As a child, Ms Lauryn Beth Fernandez was quiet and reserved. Art became a way for her to express herself.

“It was such a constant in my life. I took art as a CCA (co-curricular activity) from primary to secondary school,” recalls the 22-year-old, who has an affinity for abstract art.
