Jamie's Italian Pop-Up Market

Jamie's Italian Singapore is joining Jamie's Italian outlets worldwide to celebrate Food Revolution Day today, to champion healthy eating. This year, students from a school in Melbourne, Australia, are here for a breakfast cereal-cooking lesson. Jamie's Italian at VivoCity is launching its first Gourmet Pop-Up Market with Somersby Cider this weekend. Fans can sample and buy products such as the restaurant's pasta, including penne and tagliatelle as well as pasta sauces and a selection of cured meats from Levoni.

Theatrical Sunday Champagne Brunch At Edge

The all-new theatrical Sunday Champagne Brunch at Pan Pacific Singapore's Edge features international delicacies with unlimited Veuve Clicquot champagne, seven live food theatres and three cocktail bars. A new Caviar Bar complements the Ocean Gems on Ice, which has Alaskan king crab and Maine lobsters. There is also a new live Peking duck station. Other highlights include hay smoked whole baby lamb and hazelnut crusted foie gras. Also new is the Monjayaki station, which features Japanese cuisine. Kebab & Biryani Festival At Raffles' Tiffin Room

The Kebab & Biryani Festival returns this month at Raffles Singapore's Tiffin Room. Trace the origins and aroma of grilled kebabs to the influence of Mughlai cuisine in India. Rich and wholesome briyani is slow-cooked on fire with elaborately marinated meat, seafood or vegetables and come together for a fragrant finish. New Kids' Menu At DC Comics Super Heroes Cafe

DC Comics Super Heroes Cafe has four new dishes for kids and each one comes with a glass of juice. They are Batman Junior Burger ($16.90++), Super Kid Egg and Sausages ($13.90++), Mini Hero Chicken and Turkey Pasta ($14.90++) and Power-up Meatball Pasta ($16.90++). Comic books and on-screen entertainment are provided. The cafe has also extended its Batman Vs Superman (burgers and pasta) menu. Rejuvenate With Soups At Min Jiang

Six soups are available for the Rejuvenate With Soups promotion at Goodwood Park's Min Jiang. Two selections are on rotation each week and all are served in individual portions. The new items are Double Boiled Kampong Chicken Soup, with pork tendon, conch and coconut; and a similar version with conpoy, cordyceps militaris and bamboo pith. Level 33 executive chef Jimi Tegerdine and Bangkok's Eat Me restaurant head chef Tim Butler will work on an Asian-inspired a la carte menu next week for the Sanpellegrino's Fine Dining Lovers Guest Chef Dinner Series. The duo will present dishes including starters such as Beef Tartare, Fremantle Octopus, Quail and Abalone and mains such as Mangalica Pork, Brittany Cod, Wagyu Tataki and Short Rib. Asian, Middle East Dishes At Hyatt's StraitsKitchen

Grand Hyatt Singapore's halal-certified StraitsKitchen will be serving an Iftar buffet dinner spread of dishes from countries such as Indonesia, India, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and Turkey, in addition to local favourites. Expect Saudi Arabian roast leg of lamb, Lebanese shawarma, Hyderabadi dhum briyani and a Middle Eastern live fattoush salad station. The seafood bar on ice will have cold poached prawns, mussels, clams and oysters. Other dishes include Bengali machi (fish) curry, udang lemak nanas (Peranakan curry prawns), Japanese maki rolls and chef's specialities such as wok-fried crab with salted egg and nasi kambing herba (slow-cooked herb mutton rice). There will be prayer rooms for Muslim diners.

The Ramadan Buffet Feast at Grand Mercure Singapore Roxy's Breez Bistro.Bar (halal-certified kitchen) will have dishes such as Ayam Lemak Cili Api (chicken in spicy coconut broth), Udang Masak Lemak Nenas (curry prawns with pineapple), Assam Pedas Ikan Pari (stingray in spicy tamarind stew) and Pengat Pisang (banana in sweetened coconut milk). Six New Flavours, Festive Set Menu At Shang Palace

Shangri-La Hotel Singapore's Shang Palace has six new flavours of rice dumplings, including the Bird's Nest Rice Dumpling with salted egg yolk and custard ($42.80 nett), alongside its all-time bestseller, the Shang Palace Signature Rice Dumpling ($23.55 nett). Four of the new items - Abalone & Porcini pesto rice dumpling ($40.65 nett), Black & White glutinous rice dumpling ($23.55 nett), Five Grain Truffle-Infused vegetarian rice dumpling ($19.25 nett) and Bird's Nest Rice Dumpling with salted egg yolk and custard ($42.80 nett) - make up the Shang Palace's Rice Dumpling Gift Set ($104.85 nett). Oso Ristorante will present the From Piemonte Barolo & Cheese Experience with wine-maker Gianni Gagliardo and cheese-makers Riccardo Rosso and Davide Fiandino. Oso's chef Diego Chiarini's menu will have items such as poached veal in tuna sauce, Carnaroli rice in risotto style and ravioli filled with roasted veal. Cheeses are from Caseificio Pier Luigi Rosso and La Bruna. Wines featured include Barolo Gianni Gagliardo 2009 and Barolo Serre 2012.

Summer Palace Experience Wine Dinner

Senior sommelier at Four Seasons Hotel Shanghai Guo Ying will create a special wine-pairing menu with Four Seasons Hotel Singapore's Chinese executive chef Liu Ching Hai for this event. The first dish is crispy suckling pig stuffed with tiger prawns, served with crispy king scallops and fresh Fuji apples (paired with Pouilly-Fuisse, Maison Kerlann, Burgundy, France 2012). Other dishes are oven-baked Atlantic cod fillet (paired with Chardonnay Tasya's Reserve, Grace, Shanxi, China 2009), stir-fried ee-fu noodles (paired with Merlot Tasya's Reserve, Grace, Shanxi, China 2010) and Wok-fried Venison Tenderloin (paired with Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes, Maison Kerlann, France 2010).
