Fade In/Fade Out Screening: Sultan Mahmood Mangkat Di-Julang (The Passing Of Sultan Mahmood)

Based on a 17th-century folklore, this film is speckled with romance, murder, political conspiracies and explores the notion of loyalty within a feudalistic society. The film, one of the finest achievements in Cathay-Keris' slew of historical dramas, was restored by the Asian Film Archive (AFA) last year. In Malay with English subtitles. There will also be a post-screening talk in English by AFA.
