PLAY UNLIMITED GOLF
Laguna Golf Bintan has completed an extensive upgrade of its 18-hole par-72 golf course, and the course's revamped clubhouse and a new fleet of golf carts will be unveiled by Sept 1.
To celebrate, Banyan Tree Bintan and Angsana Bintan have launched a Stay and Play golf package.
It includes express immigration, return land transfers by a coach between the Bintan ferry terminal and the resort, daily breakfast, unlimited golf at Laguna Golf, transportation between the hotel and Laguna Golf, twin-shared golf cart, golfer's insurance and one bottle of water per nine- or 18-hole.
The offer is valid until Sept 30, except blackout dates from Aug 5 to 9 and Sept 9 to 11. Caddie fees and rental equipment are not included in the package.
Package rates for Banyan Tree Bintan start at $450 a single and $550 a twin-share a night on weekdays. On weekends, the rates are $530 a single and $630 a twin.
Angsana Bintan package rates start at $180 a single and $250 a twin-share on weekdays, and $210 a single and $290 a twin on weekends.

NEW TOUR BY CONTIKI
Tour operator Contiki has launched a new itinerary to India starting in December that is targeted at millennials.
The 12-day Eternal India trip will take travellers aged 18 to 35 from Delhi to Agra, Ranthambore, Jaipur, Udaipur, Mumbai and the hippie beaches of Goa.
The itinerary includes excursions to several heritage sites, a safari and stay at Ranthambore National Park and a trip to the Taj Mahal in Agra. Optional activities include a cooking demonstration and dinner with a local family in Jaipur, a Bollywood tour in Mumbai and a yoga class on the beach.

NEW HOTEL OPENS IN PARIS
