SINGAPORE – The Straits Times Car of the Year has come of age, turning 21 in 2023. Over the last two decades, it has remained completely independent, rigorous in its methodology and unwavering in its goal to single out examples of automotive excellence.

As always, the contenders for 2023 are shortlisted from all new models launched by authorised agents between mid-November 2022 and mid-November 2023.
