SINGAPORE - Contents of the minutes of the latest United States Federal Reserve meeting provided some support to market sentiment in the past week.

The minutes, released last Wednesday, indicated that the US central bank might be ready to ease the pace of its rate hikes in the face of signals that inflation could be plateauing and economic growth could slow down rapidly.
