AEM sees more growth, looks to scale up chip testing capacity

It has invested in various tech firms to appeal to more manufacturers as need for more complex chips grows

Global chipmakers have invested heavily in their manufacturing capacities of late, spurred by a spike in demand for new electronic devices such as tablets and phones that require central processing unit chips.
Meanwhile, the need for more complex chips to power electric vehicles, data centres and mission-critical functions requiring mobile technology such as traffic management systems running on 5G has also risen.
