BANGALORE - Unmarried couples have a new and safe way to cuddle in conservative India, as start-up entrepreneurs create "love hotels" in Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and even provincial cities such as Lucknow, Nagpur and Bhopal.

In an often prudish, space-starved country, couples - even those who are married - have always been hard pressed to find privacy where they can be intimate.
