SINGAPORE - A 21-year-old Singapore student was traumatised by an attempted sexual assault that caused her to cease her studies in Melbourne and return to Singapore last year.

The attack occurred on July 30 last year (2020) as she was walking from a relative's house, where she had recently moved to because of the Covid-19 lockdown in the second half of last year, to a local park at Patterson Lakes in Melbourne.
