AirAsia group chief executive Tan Sri Tony Fernandes, 53, married his Korean girlfriend, Chloe, in France on Saturday (Oct 14), the Malay Mail reported.

The couple were wed in a quiet ceremony at the luxury hotel Cap Estel in Cote d'Azur, a posh French riviera town located 15 minutes away from Monaco.

The wedding was attended by 150 people, including AirAsia chairman and Tune Group chief executive Datuk Kamarudin Meranun, CIMB Group chairman Datuk Seri Nazir Razak and former international trade and industry minister Tan Sri Rafizah Aziz, according to The New Straits Times.

The New Straits Times also published pictures of the bride and groom, describing the airline head as "looking dapper in a three-piece suit" while the bride looked " resplendent in an off-shoulder long white gown".

The couple have reportedly been dating for over two years.

Chloe is said to be "well-liked and personable" but not much else is known about the newly minted Mrs Fernandes.

"Even her last name is known only to family and the closest of friends," reported The New Straits Times.

CIMB Group chairman Datuk Seri Nazir Razak was the best man, according to Malay Mail Online.

Mr Fernandes has a 23-year-old daughter, a graphic designer in Britain, and a 16-year-old son who is studying in Kuala Lumpur, from his previous marriage.
