Wendy is the Straits Times’ correspondent in Seoul. She first cut her teeth in journalism at The New Paper as an intern, and went on to join the paper full-time. When she hit the big 3-0, she felt that she needed to see the world beyond the newsroom, so she switched tracks to join the Foreign Service. After 15 years of been-there done-that, she is returning to her roots. She thinks it is cool to have worked at the old Times House, Genting Lane and now the News Centre at Toa Payoh.
